Karnataka High Court ruled that Good and safe road will now be considered as a Fundamental Right under Article-21 of Indian Constitution.
If any road or footpath will be in a bad condition such as having potholes on roads which may lead serious injury to any person eventually lead to the violation of Article-21 of Indian Constitution and can seek compensation from Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike as they are responsible to look after the maintainence of roads, footpaths, etc.
